I have seen rides were its obvious that at the end of the cycling the bike has been put in the car and they have then driven home without stopping the GPS recording, an easy mistake to make, but uploading it to Strava without editing it is inexcusable.
If you don't know how to edit the ride don't upload.

dead easy to crop in Strava once you realise, flagging hopefully just prods people that might have not noticed

Using a tail wind to your advantage is hardly cheating...


I agree, I've played the game as much as anyone :-)

Someone flagged a ride of mine once, it had a gps error where i went from top of box hill in a straight line to the middle of france and back within a second. Got flagged for distance and speed, didn't know about it until i had uploaded and had no idea how to fix it.
