You used to be able to get one from British Cycling - as part of a drive to get members some years ago, you could choose to have either a natty windproof fleece top or a British team cycle jersey upon joining.

Well, I'm inadvertently putting this to a live test, it seems...

I bought what I thought was an East Flanders Road Cycling Championship jersey (there's a family connection to the area, on my paternal grandmother's side). Turns out I've bought *the champion's* jersey.

Oh dear.

If you hear about me getting a kicking from Belgian cyclists, don't be surprised...
