A national treasure shoukld cross all lines: age, gender, politics, religion etc. Everyone should recognise the mere mention of the name, and have a sort of an "aaaaah, thy're one of us" type feeling. Everyone would feel affronted if the tabloids dared to have a go for some reason, and everyone should be rooting for them if they ever fall on hard times. So, (as I mentioned previously), Madness fit the bill. Let's hear it for the Nutty Boys!!!
