Neat trick for (some) Garmin users

Sadly this won't work for my Garmin 200 but it does cover half a dozen other models in the range so I thought I'd share it.

It's a minor text edit to get your Garmin to load up with a splash screen containing your contact info so that if you lose it, the finder can get it back to you. https://www.dcrainmaker.com/2013/08/display-number-garmin.html

I did this with my old tomtom, actually had a picture of me and my car together with contact details. Neat find that the Garmin can do similar. I will have to play and see if I can actually load up a picture for full-on customisation.....

I put my I.C.E. Information on a couple of years ago - mine allows me to skip the pause by pressing a key.

Get a bunch of nametags printed at for example https://www.mynametags.com/design-name-tags and stick them to all of your stuff.
