New bike advice for the little lady

Howdy,

Im after some advice / suggestions.

We are after a nice all round bike for on the road. She preferes flick opposed to twist gears. I have been looking in decathlon and seems 150-200 is about right.

Any suggestions, or anything different you guys and gals would suggest.

Or the BTWIN bikes from Decathlon are good vfm if not the lightest and some are a tad odd looking lol.

£150-200 is pretty budget end so bikes could be heavy

thanks for that, the halfords one looks good, although i think she prefers more of a drop on the frame (she is 5ft 1 so struggles getting on otherwise.

how do the b'twin look funny? never seen one upclose just hear good things

I'd go to Halfords with that budget, just check the bike is built ok

Steel fork so will be heavy. Also isn't 5.1 around 152cm, so that may be a little big

Evans are however very good for test rides so she could try it out if in stock, I'd go to the local branch in Kingston. Or try Cyclopedia in Surbiton and as I mentioned, Fudges in Epsom
