Add light oil and run it. The grease will lube it and eventually it will end up being washed off.

I give it a good soaking in petrol, dry it off, followed by a wash with degreaser to remove the light greasy film from the petrol, dry it off, fit the chain and very lightly oil the rollers. Since I started degreasing a new chain as the LBS recommended it to me, I find it has a slightly longer life span.

KMC recommend not to degrease a new chain. And who needs the hassle? Just wipe the residue from the outside to prevent attracting dirt, a spot of your fave lube on each roller, wipe and ride. Then mickle as necessary. Works for me.
