hi all, having not rode a bike for 3 years i decided to buy a fixie for commutin to work in an attempt to get fit and save a bit of money. Finally plucked up the courage to go for it yesterday 9 miles there at an average of 13.5 mph and the went home a slightly longer way 12 miles at an average of 12.1 mph. My legs are a bit sore today but i think thats cos i'm not used to it so i'm gonna do it again on saturday and try and build up to riding to work every day.
