Hi guys, i am looking to get my first road bike through the c2w scheme, at the moment i commute on a Claud Butler hybrid bike which has done me well for the past 5yrs.
I am quite a big guy 43 yrs young, 6' 4 and 18 stone and was looking at the Spec Secteur sport after reading on here about its slightly more relaxed geometry but have just noticed the Spec tricross. A workmate has a tricross for commuting and loves it. Just wondered if these were better for the larger gent than a more racey bike. These bikes caught my eye as they do a 61cm frame.
I will be using the new bike for commuting to work and starting to get some more miles under the belt on my days off.
Just wondered if there are any comments from you guys who know cosiderably more about cycling than i do. I plan to go into Dales in Glasgow tommorow to have a look and try and make my mind up as the cyclescheme deals with this store.
