They're keeping things very close to their chests so far, which is a good thing I think.
I'm planning to avoid as much of the hype as possible.
Abrams is an interesting choice. He obviously knows his way around the genre, as long as he doesn't do anything daft I'm pretty sure he'll do a good job.

I feel like I could... TAKE ON THE WORLD!!
I played the beta of Battlefront and Im not sure I could recommend it. Its by EA so had cynism built in that would have Drago reaching for his Jar of Jam.
In its corner, it looks as realistic as any game Ive played Tatooine in particular looked just like the film, so did Hoth but the detail on the Tatooine surface was something else. All the player characters look amazing and the AT ATs and AT STs are something you want to stay out of the way of and look great. It does play well too but...
Against it is that it seems to have no matchmaking at all, so a few people would completely dominate. Its also a shooter where reflexes help a lot so unless you are fast you will spend a lot of time dead. They need to add rankings and matchmaking because without that a lot of people will spend most of the time dead and they will stop playing. They are talking about DLC already and the game isnt out of beta yet and its also pretty pricy for a multiplayer only game

Aye, they haven't spoiled anything really, 3 trailers in we still don't know anything about the plot, not a bad feat

That doesn't sound great, bad MM is the death of fun as is constantly having to buy new DLC. At least I have a PC so won't have to pay an extra subscription on top of the game just to play an online game online!
