The fact that the BBC have apologised to Freddie suggests that perhaps the insurers may have called time on Top Gear

It started as a rather dull car-review show, then went OTT daft with Clarkson & co, now they're trying to out-do each other in silly stunts.
Only a matter of time before a fatality....probably time to say goodbye to it or return to being a bit dull and just review cars.

I believe the facial injuries were quite bad. Flipped a 3 wheel open top Morgan.

I always said that TG would end with a fatality. Glad it's not gone that far but what's the point of an airfield for testing road going cars ?
Ridiculous speeds and risks that no sensible driver would take on public roads. A Morgan shouldn't be pushed that hard to flip.

Also that they were culpable in some way.
I think they might have forgotten that Freddie Flintoff is an ex crickateer and not a lifelong motoring journalist who has spent his life writing about and driving cars. They should have really left the riskier cars to Chris Harris or at least advised Freddie not to push it. Or maybe it was just an accident, who knows

Was it the new Morgan he was driving do we know?

Dunno but if it was - maybe leaving the rollcage on the production car wouldn't be such a bad idea.
