That question is a minefield, and besides, you will need to be much more specific on what wheels you've got, what bike you've got and what sort of riding you want the tyres for.

And first of all, why do you want to put new tyres on?

as above really people need to know what you have on the bike (size) and what u are looking for in a new tire.
My old hybrid had 7oo/32 fitted on it , i changed them out for swallabe 700/28.
no regrets no punctures higher presure, job was a good un till some scrote pinched it.

My tyres are 700c by 45c could any one tell me what this means it says they are mid range tyres

70cm (diameter) x 45mm (width). I don't know what you mean by mid range. By type, size?I guess they are on a mountain bike or hybrid.

If i where to put some new tyres on my hybrid could anyone suggest me some good ones

Well, I've got some Maxxis Overdrive Maxprotect on my Marin hybrid and they roll well on tarmac and handle dirt roads pretty well. Haven't had a puncture yet. The roads here in West Africa give any tyre a tough time.

You can get them at chainreaction for about £16.
