.... you were way too far out/not primary enough, there was plenty of space before the bus for you to hug the kerb/take secondary/move over and let him pass. You should have known he was there/was desperate to get past/doesn't like cyclists/was in a rush/was on the mobile/was shaving/was reading the paper and should have moved out of the way. There was also a perfectly good bus lane/pavement to cycle on. In fact, why don't you pay road tax!

I have often fantisised about having a crossbow on the bike for people like this, and then just fire it into their tyres. Trouble is it'd prolly go off when I hit a pothole.

How about a car of the future where it has a high tech tacograph/black box recorder. Couple this with anti collision sensor technology and GPS. This would give you a record of speed, location and passing proximity to objects. Random police checks, run the recorder through some software and take appropriate action. You could even have a wireless transmission signal from the black box to save on police manpower. Just collate the data and send out the fines/court letters. Throw in some general speed limiting technology and we're sorted

It would be easy enough to put a transponder on a bike and the receiver on the motor. Then have it satelite based like the GPS but transmitting, it would also tell if the engine was off/stationary traffic, lol, so parked cars would get in trouble

I did ride alongside the chap for a bit, and told him to search for his registration on youtube in a week. I wonder if he'll come online and even more if he'll dare to comment?
