Stay the same, the rides harsh enough on 16 inch, just get them refurbished you'll be surprised how good they look, but I've yet to find a more reliable car ,and believe me I've tried , so just bought a new civic. The wheels on my Honda civic have been well scratched and kerbed so I am getting some new ones.
So for those who have done this is it worth going up from 16 to 17 inch or stay the same..
Any thoughts ..

I presume you have alloys fitted ?
why not get them refinished ?
OE alloys fitted but never thought of refinished alloys.. what the cost any idea?
I've had wheels refurbished a few times, franchise operators like Chips Away will come and do it at your home for £50 a wheel. The wheels will come up good as new.
That depends a lot on the franchisee, many I would not let paint my fence.
For wheels it would be powder coating by a wheel specialist, about £50 or less a wheel.
Smart repair the like of Chips-Away and cold damp alloy do not work for long
