Ordinarily the word “Carbuncle” comes to mind but having worked on the Stratford site and being a little bit familiar with the layout it probably not be out of place – shame that the £19.1M cannot be used for something more useful – but it is the Geezers money – question is who pays for the long term maintenance or is it to be taken down and recycled along with the other temporary parts of the Olympic site that will leave no legacy.
