but having worked on the Stratford site and being a little bit familiar with the layout it probably not be out of place – .

I wish I'd known that Smiffy as you probably could have told me that there is no cycle access to Stratford International station:angry:

I did not know that myself - I had not got the facilites to have a bike down there when we were on the site - extra 4kg on me but that is another story -It would not have mattered because as soon after we got there they stopped the staff from using bikes to get from the entrances to their place of work -

Saw it on the six o'clock news. The 3D rendering of it looks quite a bit better than odd photos dotted round the net .

I wondered about Watts! xx(
Anyway, there is an enterprising objective involved. It would be interesting to know the comparative cost of something like this -

which would be a cast-iron commercial success, saving endless traffic jams to Staffordshire. Coachloads of schoolchildren could be absorbed within this site and fed, watered, amused and cultured - grown ups too! It might be a more apt direction to take.
OK Mr Mayor, there can be one day a week for cyclist only visitors - we'll tolerate that under the grand scheme of things...xx(

I'm another fan of Anish Kapoor's work. I haven't seen any of his pieces live, but I have seen him interviewed several times and he is an intelligent, thoughtful and articulate artist.

So are most of the other greats, given the right forum to explain their work. Even Damian Hirst and Tracey Emin.
