Now that it's time to renew my phone contract, I'm being all grown up and responsible, rejecting the offer of a free iPhone for a more expensive monthly tariff, choosing instead a cheaper monthly contract and a phone wot's less posh.

Trouble is, there's too much bloody choice.

On the basis of good reviews for the battery life, I've vaguely narrowed it down to the Nokia touch and types: the X3 and the C3.

Does anyone have experience of these?

Given the price of the handsets in may be worth getting a sim only contract and buying the phone separately

Should have said that I get quite a wide range of free upgrades - the two Nokia touch and types appeal to me the most of the ones that have a high battery life.
