Mrs N asked me to adjust a toilet seat. It needed a 4mm Allen key....that I didn't possess. A trip to Wickes was on the cards until I had a look at my multi-tool.

And there it was. So with a bit of fiddling about, I managed to sort out the toilet seat using the mutli-tool.

Someone must have found an alternative use for a chainbreaker by now?

I use the little knife on mine at work quite a bit to cut bits of baler twine etc, or if we've forgotten any screwdrivers/allen keys.... not fixed any toilets yet though, good work!

It would be useful if you had to extract a tooth.

Loch side.
I regularly open bottles with mine, but strangely enough I've never used it for bicycle repairs and certainly never for a toilet job.

I tend to use my cycling tool kit at home for some DIY chores as it's the one set of tools that I know the exact location (as opposed to the others that Mrs D has hidden at the back of a cupboard)

Not a multitool, but my threaded headset spanner saved me from a trip to the diy shop when i needed to tighten an odd thin plastic nut on my toilet. I advocate even more integration between toilets and bikes.

I've used the Torx T25 on mine at work whilst disassembling a defibrillator after the Torx drivers went astray one day.

At home they get used quite often as they are generally more ready to hand that the toolbox.

I have three of these:

We needed a tool to tighten an allen bolt on one of the doors so used my Mini tool:

It is now a part of the Radiopharmacy kit
