So I pulled the trigger 15 days ago and got a text from Halfords acknowledging order and stating that local store were processing it. Bike was in stock so expected a call or text within 1-2 days but after 10 days I gave up waiting. I could have chased it but decided to buy my old Boardman Hybrid back from my mate, and stick some ice tyres on that.
Took it out for first time today to bed in spikes and intend to use it tomorrow on early morning commute.
Still not heard anything from Halfords, Their website shows no outstanding orders either! Strange indeed.
