Is this a piss take?
Go to a charity shop and buy a bed sheet. Put the sheet on the floor and put the dry bike on top. Mickle the chain. Wipe the bike down with a rag, the dirt will fall off onto the sheet, which you can then shake out outside. Finish cleaning the bike with a rag and some Mr Sheen, or baby wipes if you don't care about generating unnecessary waste.

Quite right to, has he yet to learn about arguing with the hand that rocks the cradle.I keep a watering can, full of water near my door so I can prop the bike up and then water it off before bringing it indoors and putting it in the shower room. Hub can whinge and complain as much as he likes but the bike needs cleaning. I didn't whinge when he had a bike engine on the kitchen table when we were first together so he can do one about my choice of cleaning place.
Clean the bike in the bathroom and then clean the bath out!
Seems like it's always raining outside when I get back from work and I have no place indoors (bathroom is verboten), bike is in severe need of a clean and fettle as the last few rides have been muddy as.
Anyone else have this problem and have any creative solutions?
The amount of horrible stuff that comes off my bikes...
