Following their major reunion gigs, they are now going on another tour with 20 more UK dates.

Are they taking their fans for mugs? Suddenly spending massive amounts of money on tickets for the last shows seems even more silly.

And Knebworth is a nightmare venue for accessibility as anyone who has been stuck in the carpark at 3am will tell you.

Yep. Theyre doing it to top up the coffers, not through any artistic integrity or a sudden creative need.

People seem to be singling them out as if they are the only ones charging big money.
I looked at some Stevie Wonder tickets last week and they started at £130 and soon hit £300 upwards. Harry Styles was £150 upwards this summer.
It’s shocking, but thems the prices.

I think with Oasis it was the sheer scale of the grifting.

Already expensive tickets costing an additional £150 by the time the hidden extras were added, dynamic pricing adding £600 to the price of some tickets by the time the customer had got to the front of the internet queue, that sort of thing.

Then it didn't help that the band denied it was anything to do with them, only for Ticketmaster to point out the bands management were completely on board and taking a nice cut.

Oasis (management) resold a load of tickets for last years tour that had been reclaimed from 'bots' that were all sold at face value only, and the end of tour gigs were all at fixed price. They've stated all of this tour will not be subject to dynamic pricing - offer some credit for listening and doing something about it. Plus, the ballot system they've put in place for the upcoming tickets sales is going some way to stop bots/touts/resellers.

Can't stand them myself. Over rated pompous twats in my opinion.

I would offer credit but for the fact they were publicly shamed over it before deciding to act.

Can't say I'm a fan at all although some obviously love them.

However, what gets me is the amount some will pay to see them, extortionate. They were joking yesterday about how much as well which leaves a sour taste.
