Oasis. Yawn. Two nasaly Mancunian brothers who are a bit full of themselves, but managed to sell a few records in the 90's..
Thirty years later, and they must have received a tax bill or something similar. Because every time I turn on the TV news or the radio, there is something on about their reunion concerts. Followed by another of their tunes, in the case of radio coverage.
Are we going to get this for a full year in the lead up to the concerts? If so, my Spotify subscription is going to have turned out to be a great investment. It's an oasis of being free from Oasis. I didn't like them in my 30's, and even less so in my 60's.

In said 90's, I was visiting a mate in Swiss Cottage. Popped out the the shop for some booze, on way back to mates flat, a taxi pulled up outside a posh house and the Gallagher brothers fell out.....
Never much liked Oasis, ripped off the Beatles sound if you ask me. Won't they just retire????

I do still love Rock and Roll Star. And there's a lot to like on that first album.
