Plus coffees etc being sold in takeaway cups so people wander around their local towns constantly sipping drinks.

And too many carbs, which turn into sugar and cause a spike in hunger levels not long after, and the process just gets repeated as more carbs are consumed....

The state of our pavements from these spilt drinks, yuk !

In response to the public and Government moaning that they were throwing away too much produce, creating food waste. It was not just random decisions to drop them. But a Government consultation, pressure and food standards guideline changes. The public previously getting confused between best before and use by.

it just shifts the problem to the consumer ime, but Im sure the supermarkets love it and lobbied very hard for it as now they sell stuff they threw away.

but I buy as an example a bunch of bananas every week as part of my food prep for cycling, have done for best part of the last 15 years, you used to have the problem the bananas were still ripening alot of the time often too green in some parts of the year. but Im buying them now and theyre basically brown mush within the week now.

all I can do is buy smaller bunches, but it then becomes more expensive overall.
