Naomi Cambell is a medical miracle. She was born only skin and bone, with no muscle tissue, sinew or fat whatsoever. However, nature compensated by giving her over developed moan centres in her brain.

Naomi is not a real name. It is simply an anagram of “I Moan”

Bob Marley gave songwriting
credits on “No Woman No Cry” to
his childhood friend Vincent Ford, who ran a soup kitchen in Jamaica. Royalties from the hit song helped keep the kitchen running.

The first commercial CD pressed in the United States was Bruce Springsteen’s "Born in the U.S.A."

The first commercial CD pressed in the United States was Bruce Springsteen’s "Born in the U.S.A."

However, the graphic designer who produced the sleeve was a fan of Springsteen’s early work, but felt that the overtly commercial sound of “Born in the USA” demonstrated that Springsteen had sold out following the critically acclaimed “River” and “Nebraska” albums. He inserted some additional text into the first album covers, of a shade almost identical to the background. If you look carefully at early albums, you will see that he changed the title to “Boring in the USA”. These original albums are highly prized by collectors, selling for up to a billion dollars.

Terry Molloy, who played one eyed evil Dalek overlord Davros, went on to portray Mike Tucker in The Archers. Tucker lost an eye when a hydraulic hose broke on one of Brian Aldridge's tractors but the similarity ends there, as Mike Tucker's stair climbing abilities were unimpaired.
Escalators were invented in 1763. The first actual stairs weren't invented until 1770.
Before that all buildings had to be single story.
There was a (unsubstantiated) report that an Irish guy built a 2 story house in 1750 but as stairs hadnt been invented the top story was never used.

Grace Archer died on 22 September 1955, in her husbands, Phil, arms after trying to save her horses from a stable fire.

The occurrence of the first death in The Archers on the night ITV was launched was a mere coincidence.
