Fray Bentos pies were developed in the 60s by the government as a way of stockpiling food that could survive a nuclear war with the Soviet Union. Millions of pies were manufactured and stored in underground depots for emergency use. Production stopped in 1991 with the fall of the Berlin wall but hungry, depressed, lonely single men continue to enjoy the dubious pleasure of the "food of last resort". Experts estimate there are sufficient stocks to last well into the 2030s.

A bike can stay upright on its own.

Providing the bike is moving at a speed of miles per hour or more, it will stay upright as it zooms along without its rider.
