A normal resting heart rate is 60-100bpm. If you are more active your heart rate may be lower. Lower than 60 bpm is called Bracycardia

The French sought to buy Blackpool Tower, to place alongside their awful tower.

The deal fell through when they realised, having read the translated small print, that the Tower would have to be removed in one piece. This would only be doable from the sea side. And then only at high tide.

The deal fell through, and "By The Seaside" became a way of winding the French up every time they heard it.

In 1872, Leland Stanford (1824-1893) made a bet that at some point in the gallop all four of a horse’s legs are off the ground at the same time.

Eadweard Muybridge (1830-1904) proved him right by using a series of 24 cameras and photographing a racehorse named Sallie Gardner.

The main reason the deal for the French to buy Blackpool Tower fell through was when they found out it included a consignment of 50,000 "kiss me quick" hats. The official translator told them the phrase just did not work in french

He needn't have gone to all that trouble. All he had to do was watch them in the Grand National. Plenty of chances to take a quick snap at Becher's Brook.
