99% of statistics are made up.
It was, in fact, proven that statistics are always correct.........
apart from when they aren't.

The chances of landing on one of the five most valuable properties on the your first turn is about 1.7%.

When you do manage it, you could start a new game every two hours and not expect to repeat it for at least half a week, of continuous play.

The “Like” button, just below every post on this forum, was invented by the singer Elkie Brooks. The concept first appeared on the inner sleeve of her 1982 album “Pearls”, and allowed listeners to make a cross on the sleeve if they liked the music.

The word “Like” was also invented by Elkie, a few years earlier, as a near-anagram of her name. Before that time, people had great difficulty in expressing that they approved of something.

Only 10% of energy in an incandescent light bulb is used to create light. The other 90% of a light bulb's energy creates heat. Compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs), on the other hand, use about 80% less electricity than conventional bulbs.

Because this heats the house it means the heating doesn't have to work as hard. This is why the introduction of low energy bulbs has not led to a reduction in energy consumption.

Not actually a drum but.......the original gong that Bombadier Billy Wells used to strike before all Rank films was donated to charity by auction. @Drago won the auction and now uses it to eat his (rather large) meals off.

The gong used in the Rank films was a fake made of papier mache. If you watch, the guy doesn't actually hit it.
