Shakespeare never published any of his plays. That was done by John Heminges and Henry Condell after his death. As he also created over 3,000 new English words, it's quite likely that every single play has been interpreted differently to how Shakespeare intended.

Cake or ice cream? The choice is endless ...
Strangely, Shakespeare never actually shook a spear himself, even though some of the people in his plays did!

Football manager/coach Craig Shakespeare - one of the Bard's many descendants - was sacked by Leicester City on Twelfth Night after a fall out with the owners and main sponsor over Shakespeare's repeated attempts to get The Foxes' King Power stadium renamed The King Lear, and an abject performance against local rivals Derby County that was wittily dubbed a Comedy of Errors by the Leicester Mercury on account of their shambolic defending. In another uncanny coincidence, he lives in a small hamlet near Stratford, which he moved to following his appointment as Assistant Coach to Dean Smith at Aston Villa, where he's known as Macbeth following a training ground bust up with veteran striker Duncan King

It is unlikely that his name was actually Shakespeare, and the name was probably given to him after his death as an advertising gimmick.

Evidence of this is the fact that, being a Brummie, he'd have had difficulty pronouncing it, as would his forebears and other locals, meaning the name is unlikely to have evolved.

The term 'Brummy' applied to people from the second City is relatively recent. Realising that the accent was confusing outsider, they gave up sounding like a raven when asking for a 'car' and made an onomatopoeic gesture instead.

Trivial Details were a new romantic band from the early 80's. The band folded after they all spent so much time being romantic with each other that they had no time to actually make ant music. The band broke up and reformed as Bronski Beat.

In Wales Shakespeare is known as Wagglybollocks. Indeed, Wagglybollocks invented most of the Welsh language as a joke while drunk. This is why anglesey has a village named Hey Nonny Nonny.

Biology was invented by Henry VIII in 1977 as a way of getting back at the catholic church. The pope at at the time, Peter Wyngarde, was so incensed that he started to wesr a dress as an outward sign of his anger. This was misinterpreted by the outside world as simply high ranking catholic priestly clothing, but some scholars have noted that wedding dresses and sequined tutus are a suspiciously recent addition to the wardrobes of high ranking vatican officials.
