I'm definitely going to do more Saturday rides. A lot of people aren't bothered whether they are Saturday or Sunday. The Sundays-only crew are getting plenty of rides, but the Saturdays-only riders have been slightly neglected.

I do sometimes do mid-week rides. Calum and bromptonfb, among others, occasionally come out mid-week if their work rotas allow them to. I'll do some more mid-week rides next year too.

Saturday rides are much easier for me ! I can't remember if your run from Settle was on a Saturday, but you got a terrific turnout - and it was a brilliant ride, with a great bunch of fellas.

If you organise the odd Saturday ride, I'd certainly be interested. I reckon that Al-Fresco would come - though I'd like to see him bring his fixie. Never mind going up, I'd love to see him come downhill on the descent before (iirc) Hawes.

Oh yes, any ride which has EvilClive's tandem in action, should be mandatory for all CC members.

I'm hoping that I might be able to persuage Luke's Dad and Banjo along also - we might be able to break your best turnout.

Steve - I'm having to resort to checking my posts and photos (and asking here) to remind me who I've met! I'm pretty good with faces - I normally recognise people that I've met before even if I can't remember their names. One or two exceptions there, including Kestevan, but I forgave myself him because he'd put on weight and grown a beard since I originally met him. I often forget real names even if I remember forum names, though ones like yours are obviously not a problem.

Phil - technically, the ride that I didn't do (Spring Into The Dales) wasn't a forum ride but a local audax event which I always try and drum up a little extra support for.

Pubrunner - I'm definitely going to do at least one big Forest of Bowland ride from Whalley or Colne on a Saturday some time between May and August next year. There will be other similar rides. I'll try to alternate Saturday and Sunday forum ride every 2 weeks or so from Spring to Autumn 2012.

Hicky - there will be plenty more rides in 2012, so come along and join us again!
