I'm cycling over to a friend's later on to watch Le Tour. It'll either be on the road bike and going the long way home, or on the hybrid with the dog in her trailer. She doesn't know about this yet. If she did, she'd be voting for the road bike.

I'm trying to decide whether I can escape to join friends for a planned ride, except I was out all yesterday and Mr Summerday's appears to have caught the bug that the kids have had.... I want to go .... but I am feeling really guilty.

Planning on buying a cycle carrier at Aldi and then taking the bikes plus partner for a pootle along the Kennet and Avon canal from the Dundas viaduct. Partner isn't a great cyclist so will be a leisurely10 miles or so.
