That reminds me of the time my little girl had some homework when she was about seven years old.

She had to write about her family, and I made her cross out , 'my dad has grey hair,' and replace it with, 'dark brown with silver highlights.'

The best bit about it was passing the young teacher's inspection a few days later when she agreed with me.

I'm sure she was smirking though.

Yes, whats wrong with old grey fat and scruffy? personally the fat part doesn't apply but the rest does. When my son got married I hired a posh suit and wore a waist coat and tie but still looked like compo out of the last of the summer wine.

Perhaps changing out of your wellies would have helped.
