Sloping Top Tube gives the impression of a smaller frame

Head tube is pretty short though, so it isn't very big even with the sloper. I've got a pair of similar cro-moly frames, of 96/97 vintage one Trek 850 and a Saracen that are only 18-19" but have sloping top tubes approaching 22"centres so they are adult sized in reach terms. Trek also fitted long stems like the one on the Spesh.

Anyhoo, went out cycling and my missus sold it for £150

apparently I need to make some money back on bikes due to wanting Di2 11 speed for my Trek

wow, that’s a good price. That would have been a £100 Bike before the lockdown

My son put it on FB market place and was on the phone to his Ma to get it sold to somebody soon as his phone would not stop ringing.

People are going daft for bikes.

TBH cleaning and polishing with a bit of a service before selling ups the price a fair bit, if it had been advertised as it was £50 would have been good
