OMG! Triban 3 currently on sale for £249.99

I have just got back from a potter around the local Decathlon (popped in to replace the winter gloves I lost after driving away from Llandegla with them still on the car roof the other week ). I can never walk past the line of shiny red Tribans without stopping for a look, only today I had a bit of a shock!

I'm not sure if this should be posted in commuting, general cycling or discounts, offers and retailers? The bike was always regarded as great value at £300 but now, £50 cheaper, it must be the bargain of the century? I found it extremely difficult not to end up walking out of the store with the 45cm version tucked under my arm for my youngest son, I am still having trouble justifying why I didn't

Anyway, if anybody on here was considering buying one, get in quick while the offer and stocks last......

EDIT: The gloves were also reduced from £8 to £6, happy days!

There were 4 or 5 sizes out on display at Stockport today, definitely the small sizes anyway coz I checked.

If you buy one then get some entry-level Shimano wheels for £100 it's still a bargain, especially if you then flog the Btwin wheels to another Triban owner!

What's the smallest 700c frame ? Looks like it's 52. Rather get my lad a full size frame as I have spare Aksiums hanging in the garage (oh and don't go there with the carbon HED Jets)

I have a grey one, a yellow one and a silver one! Do I really need a red one? (although I do admit I am really, really attracted to the rack full of red Tribans everytime I go in there. )
