I managed a "U" at O level French, now that takes hard work

Snap - I got a U/U (written/oral). What's worse is that it's on the same certificate as my Maths and English O-levels AND I thought I'd passed.

I remain thankful that I was taught French from primary school age on, which I think was thanks to teachers Mr Wanoa and Mr Hammett and headteacher Mr Clamp. It wasn't really fair on the kids from the other primary schools who went to the same secondary, as you needed a good "first year" (which was after six years for my village) test result to have the option to study German too.

So @Brandane have you made an arrangement to show madame your tool collection;)
Sadly I can be a little slow in being forward , and on this occasion I am going to have to try and find her again to see if there is any mutual interest. I have a name, and the street where she lives - so hopefully it won't be too difficult. I don't even know if she is single though!
