Is that pavement part of your private land?
He put it there on purpose to stop those farking cyclists using it

Have just seen the prices for the CC towing courses, £170 per person and their manoeuvring course at £145 per person.

Yep, not been put off yet.

More looking at tin cans tomorrow after which a decision will probably be made and Fabbers wallet will be that much lighter.

Watch out for the moths

Excellent, enjoy!

We bought our last 'van from a dealers, not much of a premium over private sale prices and was nice to wander around looking at the different layouts on offer even though we thought we knew exactly what we wanted.
The warranty was also extremely good, we noticed the floor was delaminating and the fridge light stopped working after a couple of trips out. Waited nearly a Year (12 month warranty on it) before taking it back in for a service (in case anything else went wrong) and all was repaired under the warranty with no quibbles.
All dealers offer different warranties on used 'vans, but in our case, it was well worth it.
OK, the fridge light not working was hardly the end of the World, but an annoying niggle none-the-less and the deliaminated floor would have been a real pain to DIY.

You have to balance that cost against the possible bills from backing your shiny new 'van into something though!
Or, just see how you get on and take the course later if you feel you need it

Incidentally, from what I've seen in my 12 years as a caravaner, I would say that the majority of people are pretty hopeless at reversing their outfit! Some don't even try any more and just unhitch then use the motor mover to position it.

Seems good value to me, is that for half a day?
10 hours split over two days which is a bugger as our nearest place is in Hassocks in Sussex and we live on the Kent coast.
