Crap isn't it. After all it's not diificult to peel a few spuds or chop a few veg as I was instructing my Butler to do the other night...
I hate it when he buys that pre-packed stuff.

Pre-grated cheese - it's the future..............

Actually, we have pre-grated cheese in the fridge as I write this. Parmesan, in a cardboard container, from the supermarket. Handy and ready in an instant for the spag. bol.* Yes I know we could come over all Grauniad/Waitrose-y and grate our own at the table, but sometimes convenience pays off...
