1974 Morris Marina coupe, not sure if I like the wheels and suspension tweaks but it was clean as a whistle.

That angle is quite flattering, nice looking. I had an 1800 TC Coupe, quite old by the time I got it but it drove ok, wasn't a slouch, didn't really suffer from rust.
Another example of how BL cars suffered badly reputation wise but there were good examples that survived well, were simply a no nonsense car, did what they said on the can, no more, no less.

Dad had '76 1.8 Marina, we had none qualified speed test, where you are sat at a specific junction, down the road is a hump, you set off from the junction & see what speed you are doing as you hit the hump, the Marina faired very well, seem to remember it was around 80mph.

Can't do it any longer as they've now built a housing estate so no longer safe, if it ever really was.
