Yes, yes and thrice yes. My Dad had 2 of these (bought with someone else's money, of course).

Following the usual pattern of cars he bought twice: the first one was sublime, the 2nd was an absolute dog; the dealer even put the wrong registration plate on the 2nd one. He went to pick it up after a service and said: that's not my car to which the dealer principal said....er....about that.

I worked at a Citroen dealership at the time these were out and the quality varied wildly.

The Gti's were great fun but then the turbo diesels were ok as well.

Typically quirky but nothing too wild

We didn't go in as perhaps unfairly it seemed a touch unappealing, but sea view would admittedly be there. Were almost tempted by the Gurkha curry hose next door; maybe next time
