At Coningsby (BBMF Museum) yesterday. Too close to the hedge to get a frontal shot

80's Maser, badly parked. It's owner always parks over 2 spaces, maybe wary of being "doored"

.. or maybe he's a big lad so needs the extra space to get those big doors open wide enough to get in and out

I might go to this on Saturday, however the entry fee has certainly gone up!

The last time l attended, l think it was £2

It’s alongside the A628, on its Pontefract-Barnsley section
Plus not far off the A638 (Wakefield - Doncaster road), or the A1, at Darrington, Barnsdale Bar, or ‘Red House’
The last junction intersecting the A638

Sometimes you get very interesting vehicles, like this FAUN

This is cool!
I used to have a Chevette*, but the Kadett was nicer (barring the Chevette 2300HS)
It's the Rover engine, not the Ford V8, of the same capacity

Blydenstein did a very nice Chevette upgrade that really perked up the cars character. Vauxhall looked at dropping the cam-in-head 1.6 unit from the RWD cavalier in, but for whatever reason never did. Shame.

I know very little about cars but I will occasionally spot something a bit unusual when out on the bike. I couldn't get a photo as I was cycling past but I saw a guy at the weekend driving what I am 99% certain was a Porsche 356a convertible in black which I assume is a rather expensive classic car these days.

Yes it is - there's also a very very good modern replica made by Chesil.
