From Sunday best to down right ratty the 68/69 Charger always look cool .

Dreadful car in real life though.

Usual 'straight-line'performance, 9" drums all round, optional 9" (or 10"?) discs on the front
The bigger engines make it move fairly quickly (426 'Hemi' & 440 'Magnum')
They're huge! (but the SuperBird looks even longer, with the added nose-cone)

Did I ever tell you Reynard about the pursuit I got into with a Mini.

I was in an S60R, a quick scoot at the time, and held on to it about town, but the moment we hit the A45 it just disappeared toward the horizon like nothing we'd ever seen. My oppo just burst out laughing.

It turned up a few days later and some other uniforms had him. Turned out it had a rear mounted Volvo whoteblock with the thick end of 700 BHP.

Yeah, you did.

Power-to-weight would've been similar to an F1 / F3000 car. In a Mini - which isn't designed for that, it'd be, well, scary.

A couple of early display arrivals for the Festival Italia at Brands Hatch on Sunday

Firstly a Fiat 131 Abarth Stradale built up to Group 4 Rally spec

Secondly a 'slightly' modified Fiat 500 with an Alfa Romeo boxer 1.7 litre powerplant.
