I see nothing wrong with the idea that baked beans and tomato soup being classed as one of you five a day, they've no doubt got a little too much additives compared with fresh fruit...but, what really gets my goat is foodstuffs that claim benefits that are ridiculous, like Nutella...TWO WHOLE HAZELNUTS IN EVERY PORTION
as the advert goes.
No doubt it has, but the proportion of calories in it are very high. Something like 30% is fat, 40% is sugar. 280 calories of your recommended daily input in one (probably small) serving.
Nothing wrong with Nutella (although i don't eat it), but to claim healthy benefits without telling us the the negatives far outweigh the benefits is wrong IMO.
And don't get me going on chocolate covered breakfast cereals
What chance have kids got !!!
