Only the weathermen could be so pessimistic...

I have college tomorrow morning (class finished at 12:30) and my only transport is by bike.... getting there should be OK (wet and windy...) coming home could be interesting if the weather forecasters have any say in the matter. My route home is due west along an exposed country lane btw! (walking & public transport are not options).

YR have the weather as dry, but windier... up to a sustained 31mph breeze!

Anyone else have to be out on their bikes tomorrow? What's your forecast like?

Windy. Might rain, might not. But with wind speeds in the high 20s, I think it will be a wash and instant blow dry if I wear high wicking shorts/trousers and my MTB SPDs.

Mine is saying 20mph wind with 42mph easterly gusts (for tomorrows commute home) looks like a nice tail wind for me wooooooohooooooo!

Bike will be going nowhere this week!
Tomorrow - 60mph north westerly gusts with showers. Heavy rain all day Wednesday, same again Thursday. I need to emigrate; British weather is depressing. More specifically, west of Scotland weather .

Anything over 20mph or so tends to come with stronger gusts. Get over 30mph and those gusts start to damage buildings. Even on three wheels, low down (My backside sits 8" above the ground on two of my trikes.) and behind my fairing that's enough to stop me going out.

For me, according to XCWeather: -
Morning commute - WNW 31mph (44mph gust), light rain showers,
Evening Commute - NW 36mph (49mph gust), Cloudy with sunny spells.

My route is quite exposed as it's along the West Coast, but those numbers aren't as bad as a couple weeks ago so it should be fine. More worried about where my wheelie bin will be when I get home as it's bin day tomorrow and the wind likes playing skittles with the empty bins.

leaving the country has not helped my parents... they are now complaining of flooding in Tenerife instead!

just think about all those strava segments you could take KOM's on.... and then the bragging rights as well.... my route is west-east, so at least getting to college I should be able to claim one or two better places and the panniers can only help matters (plus full waterproofs)!

If you don't mind a drenching! I put my hands up and admit it, I am a fair weather cyclist. None of this manning up nonsense here, it isn't enjoyable so I don't do it.

I've a quiet week and so I'm trying to tackle those jobs I hate.... Like tidying/cleaning the house, so a little bad weather could be good for me, stopping me from ambling outside, if only I could keep off the computer!
