Ortlieb Downtown Bag

Almost got one but couldn't justify the cost so got 2x Ortlieb Panniers instead. Check out the Vaude Newport too, similar sort of thing.

Ortlieb stuff is generally considered very good though.

Thanks Buzz, I have Ortlieb panniers but it doesn't fit very well.

I'll check out the Vaude option.

There is a "new" system on these the QL3



The bracket is now entirely on the bike and there are simple "sockets" on the bag

To me this causes two problems.

Firstly there is no longer the ability to transfer the bag(s) between bikes, and secondly the new "bracket" only fits standard racks, without the adjustability of the QL2. IT will not fit on any of my recumbents for instance

Overall the QL3 is a big negative point for me and I will not be buying anything with a QL3 fittieng

I'm still rocking QL1. I believe the front roller classics still use this... Could be wrong.
