Are there any hobbies people are THINKING of taking up?
Veg gardening, if my Dad ever stops taking over bits of my garden to grow flowers in!

I also make working models from Lego Technic, and sew bags and stuff on my old Singer industrial sewing machine.
Reminds me, I must make a rucksack using my old Puma drawstring rucksack as a pattern before my holiday next week.
 
I'm practicing behaving as if I'm retired. I hope to have it perfected by the time I retire so that it can become my full time hobby.

It's been sitting in a box upstairs for the last 18 months. Should look good on the mantlepiece. Mind you, it's a big hunk of plastic - 36 inches. Must confess, haven't built a kit since I was 15:whistle:

I used to have a paramotor too.
I also fly RC aircraft.

Not for me... OMG - don't do heights........... not too bad but that is too much.

In the past it was Motorcycling, photography, running (did the Great Nth Run twice) but now i'm a bit older (57) I do ice skating (easier on the knees) and hopefully now cycling.^_^
