There shouldn't be a hardship mitigation in the UK. If offenders dont like the consequences of their offending thats their problem.
I think that the six month sentence would likely be suspended, but just the real threat of it concentrates people's minds. There's no hardships defence in Spain, if you've hit the points limit you get a ban, no ifs or buts. It has no effect on the criminals, they don't care, but it does deter the ones that would otherwise extract the urine.
A suspended sentence is only suspended until you get caught again...
And, as oft happens in the UK, it is suspended yet again.
almost as good as Lynda La Plantes claim a driving ban would stop her writing as she wouldnt be able to take her dog for a walk and would get lonely...of course it was the bastion of road safety Mr Loophole who was presenting her case and declared driving was a “vital part of who she is”.
the magistrates disagreed, handed her a six-month ban as her points total rose to 24.
literally some are going to declare driving is a human right soon arent they.
