I don't put sugars in my water bottle (partly because it encourages mould), but I use electrolytes in hot weather. I've used at least two brands (usually citrusy) that taste rather nice.
Surprised at the negative views to them here!

Those tabs contain artificial sweeteners ...I can't drink no added sugar squash for the same reason (unless there's no choice)

A nice electrolyte filled skinny latte is my during cycling beverage of choice alongside water on the bike

I do however drink plenty of diet pop (not while cycling though)...maybe it's the fizz that makes that palatable :scratch:

I consumed a tin of chilli that was BBE Oct 2015 recently. Expiry dates on sealed packets mean nothing to me. I check the container for pressurising, then sniff and visually examine the contents once opened. If it smells OK and looks OK, I eat it irrespective how old it is.
