The end of Carlitos Way gets to me every time.

The intercision scene from The Golden Compass induced a stifled scream in me, let alone tears. There were calmer kids in the cinema.

Found it disturbing in the book not clicked on the link as not sure I want to see it, and may make me blub.

Would agree on Life is Beautiful. A real story of hope in the face of overwhelming adversity. The father pays the ultimate price as I think most fathers would.

What Dreams May Come made me weep at the thought of having paid to rent it. Does that count?

Watership Down, The Railway Children (just that bit where Jenny Agutter shouts "Daddy, my Daddy" on the platform) and Brief Encounter... And sometimes ET, depends on my mood.

Haven't seen Truly, Madly, Deeply for a while, suspect that would do it as well now.
