A set of tyres costs $25,000. The cost of fitting the tyres to the rims is only $75,000. It has to be done at the French factory.

I very much doubt that. Wikinonsense on both price and having it done only at Molsheim. The worldwide dealer network does servicing, not just sales. With every third set of tyres Michelin and Bugatti recommends a new set of wheels- which would cost that price- to ensure a correct bead seal and in case of any cracks (any damage could be catastrophic at the speeds the thing can do). You'd probably get a lot more mileage on both wheels and tyres if you stick to speed limits.....
