I've got this book, but don't feel inclined to use it now.

One day I really want to learn how to paint - oils, water colours, acrylic, plus learn some musical instruments and get into photography.

We've got some talented people on this forum, that's for sure.

I'm the least musical person there is...at infant school they always use to give me the triangle - and then take it away again[

Was it a bogey?
I try to encourage the viewer to see what they want within my representations...

I have used oils in the past but they can take weeks to dry and do have an aroma that can fill the house. If you have studio or shed or understanding family good, otherwise stick to acrylics like me (wuss that I am).
I tend to take ages over paintings as my studio (spare room) is used as a dumping ground when we have to do things like decorate or wrap pressies for Christmas.
I'll post piccie of my last painting when I get home at weekend.
