I had to get an Irish application signed last year, it was a right ball breaker with a very small group of acceptable professional people who could sign it.

The local police no longer do it, nor does my doctor or dentist.......................it had "elected public representative" as acceptable so I got the local councillor (who'd never met me) to do it.
