What security where you using before and which one you got now ? Is it the "free AVG" or a 30 day free trial of AVG 8 ?

I got the 30 day AVG Internet security trial but it was giving me nowt but trouble so I went for the next one down which is the Anti virus with firewall, no problems with that one.

Norton can leave some bits behind that can interfere with other programmes. I know you can d/load something to totally remove Norton, give it a googling.

I've got a good (easy to use) registry cleaner that would remove the last vestiges of the Norton stuff if you'd like it mailed?

Ok, I'm sure I saw a completely free download just for anti virus protection from AVG (a friend recommended it). He recommended an ad ware download too (also free). Would I need any more on my PC than that? I thought yes so looked at the whole package thingy.
I'm not much cop at this stuff.
